Smart Sensors and Computational Intelligence

The objective of the project WAPSIENCE is to develop easy-to-use, low-cost smart on-line-sensors for the measurement of the concentration of nitrate and ammonia in wastewater treatment plants. The sensors will be made of ion-sensitive electrodes combined with electronic components for calibration, compensation of drift and they will be supplied with a standard digital interface for integration in computer-networks.
